            I recently got braces, it doesn’t happen anymore, but it used to happen a lot, and also sometimes my jaw would crunch. See an orthodontist.

And the wounds just hurt way too much, much more than they should, and take way too long to heal! Then eating, drinking, kissing, brushing teeth... feel awful and hurt too much for a very long time.               Driving by McPherson Square last weekend and thought the same thing. The grounds and outer steps were horrifying. In some ways I’m surprised that branch gets any foot traffic and is even open at this point. The whole situation, in that area surrounding K&A, is heartbreaking.

I had to take the El from Market Street to Allegheny for work yesterday and man it truly is heartbreaking to see what is happening there. You get off the train and it really does look like a third world country. Aside from a couple of Septa cops walking around I didn’t see a single city resource around. No police, no homeless outreach, no streets dept., no sanitation dept. etc. It honestly looks like a place you would expect to see U.N. Peacekeepers patrolling.
