After a fire in January, demolition is starting on the row next to/attached to mine. I posted a camera, and see these guys laying on my roof, dragging sledges on my roof, leaning on my stack, etc. Is there anything I can do to prevent this?           Hey, guys I know this sounds really stupid but today I booked a place for a long term stay for a business trip and after booking a seemingly perfect single room I found out that not only was it an extremely dangerous neighborhood but it was also farther away from my work than previously thought. Their refund policy dictated that they will keep the first 30 days rent no matter how long before you cancel so no after only having the booking for 2 hours today I am out $1000. I already went through the websites refund process but it only got me back 400 dollars out of the $1400 already paid and I’m wondering if there’s anything I can do to rectify my mistake. Someone please help because that money is badly needed and losing it would be detrimental.

                So I am looking for a book where there’s a crime or some kind of mystery involved but where love is not the main theme i.e the book shouldn’t revolve around love or a love triangle but it should be there between characters (but it shouldn’t be like too obvious). Take “If we were villians” for reference. There was murder and mystery but there was love in hideous sort of way between James and Oliver…hope you understood what I am looking for
